These two teams just have a habit of seeing each other in the postseason.

Top-ranked Pearl City and No. 9 Mililani will face off in the Oahu Interscholastic Association Division I semifinals after their quarterfinal victories at Bino Neves Stadium Tuesday night.

It will be the third straight year that the two teams have met in the league postseason. The Trojans took the past two playoff meetings, both in the OIA D1 championship game, but the Chargers won this year's regular season meeting, 3-2, without two-time All-Hawaii First Team selections Daelenn Tokunaga and Sunshine Fontes.

To reach the semifinals, which will be held at Kapolei on Thursday at 5:30 p.m., Pearl City defeated Waipahu, 3-0, and Mililani beat No. 6 Castle, 2-0.

The Chargers got first half goals from Caylie Uyema, Bree Fuller and Tokunaga, while the Trojans saw Amber Tadeo-Gilbert score a goal in each half to power them to victory.
