WAIALUA — The McKinley Tigers were three outs from notching their first win of the season, but the Waialua Bulldogs rallied in the final frame to snatch victory from the claws of defeat, topping McKinley, 8-7 in Wednesday afternoon's Oahu Interscholastic Association Division II matchup.

Dating back to last season, the Tigers (0-6) were on an 11-game skid coming into the game against the Bulldogs (3-3).

With the score tied at five after five complete innings, McKinley plated two runs in the top of the sixth to take its first lead of the game.

Waialua was able to get two runs of their own to tie it up again before Kyler Dicion's bases-loaded sacrifice fly brought Jake Riviere home for the winning score.

The walk-off win gives the Bulldogs their third victory of the year bringing their record to an even .500.
