Big second quarter powers Iolani over Kaiser, 62-26

Iolani pushed the pedal to the metal all night long in its 62-26 non-league win over host Kaiser Tuesday night.

The Raiders scored double digits in every quarter while holding the Cougars to single digits in every frame to record their fourth straight win preseason victory. The biggest disparity was in the second stanza when Iolani outscored Kaiser, 22 to 8.

Three players scored in double figures for Iolani, led by Taylor Wu's 14 points. Camy Aguinaldo had 12, Emily Nomura added 11 and Skyler Nakata chipped in nine points to round out the Raiders' leading scorers.

Iolani recorded five made 3-pointers in the contest, while Kaiser went without a triple.

Kayla Russell led the Cougars in the loss with 11 points.
