Punahou, Kamehameha, Seabury claim state paddling titles


Punahou, Kamehameha and Seabury Hall claimed state championships in the First Hawaian Bank/HHSAA Canoe Paddling Championships held at Keehi Lagoon Saturday.

Buffanblu boys repeated as HHSAA champion, while the Warriors' girls notched the school's eighth state title overall.

The Spartans' mixed crew team edged Kamehameha and Punahou to prevent an ILH sweep.
