Oregon State's KJ Harrison, a Punahou alumnus, was named to Baseball America's Freshman All-America's first team, its websit reported.
Harrison was earlier named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American team, which did not distinguish by first, second or third teams.
The first baseman batted .309 with on-base percentage of .401. He hit 10 home runs a drove in 60 runs.
Harrison was recently invited to try out for USA Baseball's 2015 Collegiate National Team.
