Kamehameha-Hawaii, the Big Island Interscholastic Federation Division II champion, defeated Molokai 5-1 in the second quarterfinal game of the Wally Yonamine Foundation/Hawaii High School Athletic Association Division II Baseball Championships at Hans L'Orange Field Thursday afternoon.

Daylen Calicdan and Kobi Candaroma each batted 2 for 3 with a run scored to help the eight-ranked Warriors advance in the eight team tournament. KS-Hawaii will face Aiea in a 1 p.m. semifinal game at Les Murakami Stadium Friday.

Malu Peralta tossed five strikeouts, walked one and scattered seven hits in six and two-thirds inning of work to pick up the win on the mound. Calicdan relieved Peralta and helped record the final out.

The Warriors totaled seven hits on Molokai starter Hanalei Dudoit-Enos and scored four of their runs in the fourth inning to break a scoreless game.

Levi Horner and Codi Kamakana each went 2 for 3 at the plate to lead the Farmers. Kamakana drove in Horner in the top of the sixth for the lone Molokai score of the game.
