No. 10 Punahou rallies by No. 4 Kamehameha in 8-7 stunner

Punahou trailed 5-0 after two innings, but battled back for a 8-7 win over fourth-ranked Kamehameha in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division I contest at Ala Wai Park Saturday afternoon.

Outfielder Kai Terada-Herzer's single in the top of the seventh inning drove in Bun Stratton for the go-ahead run. He also had a double in a three-run sixth inning for the Buffanblu. 

Punahou, ranked tenth in the ScoringLive/OC16 Baseball Power Rankings, improve to 4-5 in ILH play with the win. Kamehameha suffered its third straight loss and dropped to 5-4.

Kekoa Viera picked up the win after pitching five strong innings in relief of starter Michael Viola. Behind Viera, Punahou was able to hold Kamehameha after the third inning.

Jantzen Tamanaha and Allan Dong each had three RBIs for the Buffanblu. 

The Warriors were led by Brandon Henderson who went 3 for 4 at the plate with two RBIs and a run scored.
