Five players from Hawaii high schools have officially signed letters of intent to play baseball at the University of Hawaii, according to a UH press release.
*Saint Louis pitcher Pono Anderson, a second-team ScoringLive All-Hawaii selection, helped the Crusaders win the Division I state championship. He is a right-hander.
*Kamehameha-Hawaii outfielder Kobi Candaroma.
*Campbell pitcher Ian Kahaloa, an All-Hawaii first-team selection, is considered the top prospect in the state. He is a right-hander.
*Kamehameha-Kapalama catcher Kekai Rios.
*Iolani infielder Pikai Duque-Winchester, an All-Hawaii second team DH.
