The accolades keep on coming to Waiakea High pitcher Kodi Medeiros.
The left-hander was named to Baseball America's preseason high school All-America team. He is a second-team selection. Three teams were chosen by the publication, which made its announcement in its online version.
Medeiros is a projected early-round selection in the upcoming Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.
Medeiros also was named to the Perfect Game senior high school All-America first team. Others from Hawaii taking high honorable mention are: Punahou pitcher Dylan Combs, Punahou catcher KJ Harrison, Saint Louis pitcher Jordan Yamamoto and 'Iolani shortstop Christian Donahue.
