Ainakoa - For the second time in as many nights the Kalani Falcons took down another seeded team from the 2014 Hawaiian Airlines/Hawaii High School Athletic Association Boys State Basketball tournament, defeating fourth-seeded Kohala, 70-59.

The Falcons will play in their first title game in school history.

Kalani held a lead as large as 14 points through the course of the game and saw the lead cut down to as little as two points in the third quarter.

The Falcons were led offensively by senior guard/forward Brandon Robert’s 19 points, seven rebounds and two blocks.

Kohala's 5-foot-11 junior Mikala Jordan scored a game-high 25 points and  added six rebounds.

"This is exciting.  This is exactly where we want to be at the end of the year.  We’re playing good basketball and have a shot to win it all," remarked Kalani head coach Nathan Davis.

Kalani will take on Hawaii Preparatory Academy tomorrow night, 5:00 p.m. at the Neal Blaisdell Arena for the Division II State Championship.
