Janaye Shepard's penalty kick in 87th minute of the first sudden death overtime lifted defending Division II state champion Mid-Pacific to a 2-1 win over Kamehameha-Hawaii, and back into the Division II title game of the Outrigger Hotels and Resorts/Hawaii High School Athletic Association Division II Girls Soccer State Championships.

The Owls scored in the 46th minute to seize the early advantage, but the Warriors' Harper Hottendorf knocked home the equalizer in the 52nd minute, forcing the game into an extra period of play.

Mid-Pacific will take on Hawaii Prep at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, a rematch of last year's final.

A win over Ka Makani would mark the Owls' fourth straight Division II title.
