Punahou, Kaiser finish atop final Power Rankings

State championships Punahou and Kaiser finished atop the final ScoringLive/OC16 Football Power Rankings, for Division I and II, respectively.

The Buffanblu (11-0), who held the top spot in the D1 Power Rankings for the length of the season, won their second state championship and first since 2008 with their 28-22 win over Mililani Saturday.

The Trojans (11-2) are second in the Power Rankings, followed by Kamehameha (9-2), Saint Louis (6-3) and Farrington (9-4). Campbell (9-4), Kahuku (6-5), Waianae (7-3), Kapolei (6-4) and Baldwin (6-5) round out the D1 top 10.

The Cougars (13-1) climb to the top of D2 was completed with their 17-7 win over previously-unbeaten Kauai in the state title game Saturday.

The Red Raiders (10-1) are second in the Power Rankings, followed by Lahainaluna (10-1), Kapaa (4-4) and Pearl City (7-5). Iolani (7-5), Kalani (6-4), Konawaena (9-3), Hawaii Prep (8-3) and Radford (7-3) round out to the D2 top 10.
