Iolani claims D1 Championship
Kainoa Chu's 3-pointer with less than 5 seconds to go was the difference, as Iolani defeated Kamehameha-Kapalama, 46-43, to claim the HHSAA Boys D1 State Basketball Championship.
Iolani's Chu led all scorers with 27 points, hitting 7-of-11 shots including five 3-pointers. Micah Christenson had 23 points and 11 rebounds for the Warriors.

Pahoa holds on to win D2 Championship
Pahoa held off defending D2 State Champ Kailua, 41-38, to win the HHSAA Division 2 Boys State Basketball Championship.
Nick Fisher led the Daggers with 17 points, and Isaiah Ekau added 12 points and 13 rebounds. Jordan Decorte had 14 points and Rhys Nakakura scored 10 for Kailua.

DeForest Buckner tallied 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks, and Kaiwi Crabb added 11 points on 5-of-6 shooting as the Buffanblu defeated Kahuku, 58-56 to claim 3rd place at the HHSAA Boys State Basketball Championships. Kahuku's Nehoa Akina led all scorers with 22 points, and teammate Shairone Thompson had 13 points and 7 rebounds.
