'Iolani girls lead Ishii Foundation tourney after Day 1


After the first round of play at the David S. Ishii Foundation Girls Golf tournament at Wailua Golf Course on Kaua'i, 'Iolani holds a six-stroke lead (221) over Baldwin (227), with Punahou and Waiakea tied for third place with a total score of 228.

'Iolani freshman Rose Huang shot a 71 to hold a one-stroke lead over Baldwin junior Marissa Uradomo at the end of the first round.

The tournament concludes tomorrow with the final round starting at 7:00 a.m. Live scoring is available at www.HSJGA.org.
