Na Menehune overcome a slow start, rallying from an eight-point deficit in the fourth quarter to deny Waiakea in double overtime, 85-80.

Shane Ratledge's driving hoop plus the ensuing free throw tied the score at 62-all with 18.5 seconds remaining, and the two teams remained tied at the end of regulation.

Waiakea trailed by as much as 7 in the first overtime, but big three-pointers by Maika'i Gahan and Keoni Chiquita helped the Warriors send the game into a second extra period with the score deadlocked at 73-73.

The host Menes took control in the second overtime hitting 4-of-6 free throws to help put the game out of reach.

Moanalua's bench came up big for the second night in a row, led once again by Chris Hammond, who poured in a game-high 21 points, and guard Daib Starks chipped in 14 more.

Dillon Rellez led Waiakea with 15 points, Rylan Kawazoe had 13 and Owen Sandstrom added 12 more in the loss.

Next up for Moanalua is a clash with Maryknoll, a 60-40 winner over Mililani in the quarters, in tomorrow's 6:00 p.m. championship bracket semifinal.
