Montrose Christian (Rockville, Md.) went on a 23-2 run spanning the first and second periods tonight and rolled past 'Iolani, 65-28, last night in the quarterfinals of the 28th Annual 'Iolani Prep Classic.

The Mustangs, ranked No. 4 in the ESPN Rise/Powerade Fab 50, will face No. 31 Westbury (Houston) in today's 6:30 p.m. semifinal. 'Iolani will face Lincoln (San Diego) in the consolation bracket at 3:30 p.m.

The Raiders took a 3-2 lead on Austin O'Leary's 3-pointer two minutes into the contest, but the advantage was short lived. Michael Carrera answered with a layup 54 seconds later to start Montrose Christian on a 23-2 scoring run that spanned the first and second periods and was capped by Kevin Zabo's layup to make it 25-5 with 2:09 remaining in the half.

Justin Anderson drained a 3-pointer basket five seconds before the halftime buzzer to put the Mustangs up, 31-8.

'Iolani could not get inside of 20 points after halftime.
