Wilson Macleod's 12 points led the Dolphins to a 62-56 win over comeback minded Moanalua, in one semifinal of the Noh Foods of Hawaii AOP Hoops Classic..

AOP,� who improved to 4-0 on the season, will face Punahou, a 57-55 winner over Farrington, in tomorrow's championship game. Tipoff is set for 6:00 p.m.

AOP used an early 11-2 third quarter run to take the lead over Moanalua by a count of 41-31 with one quarter to play.

Daib Starks led Na Menehune with 10 points.

Na Menehune's Alex Hutson and Macleod both led the way with 5 points, as the two teams played to a 25-all tie at the half.


PUNAHOU 57, FARRINGTON 55

Nick Velasquez scored 21 points, 13 of them coming in the second half, to lead the Buffanblu to a 57-55 win over Farrington in the first semifinal of the AOP Hoops Classic.

Velasquez also connected on four three-pointers, giving Punahou a total of eight from distance in the contest.

The Govs got 14 points from Mikey Kleman, as well as 22 points from its two post players, 6'6 Viane Vaina (13 pts) and 6'1 Tyler Liana (9 pts).

Moanalua and Farrington will face off in the third place game of the tournament set for 4:00 p.m. tomorrow.
