A one-point deficit at the half turned into a landslide victory when all was said and done.

Campbell outscored Kahuku in the second half by 17 points for a 56-40 win in the semifinals of the Kalaheo Holiday Invitational at Pete Smith Court Tuesday night.

The Sabers trailed, 26-25, at the break, but dominated the Red Raiders after the break, 31 to 14.

Three different players led Campbell in double figures, with Mizah Carreira leading all scorers with 17 points and three triples. Rondell Villareal followed with 12 points and Miles Hornage rounded out the top scorers for the Sabers with 11 points.

Kache Kaio poured in 14 points and Leonard Ah You added 10 more to lead Kahuku in the loss.
