Four players scored in double figures as Jefferson (Portland, Ore.) raced past Kapolei, 103-54 on the second day of the Iolani Classic at Iolani's Lower Gymnasium on Saturday.

The Democrats advance to the quarterfinals to face Taft (Woodland Hills, Calif.) on Monday at 3:30 p.m.

Marcus Tsohonis scored a game-high 38 points— 21 of them coming in the first quarter. Khalil Chatman and Kamaka Hepa each scored 16 points. Hepa also added 11 boards and four blocks.

Ja'Shon Carter scored a team-high 20 points and Zoar Nedd added 10 in the loss for the Hurricanes.

The Hurricanes drop to the consolation bracket to face Kamehameha at 1:30 p.m.
