Kamehameha tops Kahuku to reach title game


  



Kamehameha reached the title game of the Stanford Carr Development Girls Water Polo State Championships with a 7-3 victory over Kahuku at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex.

The Warriors jumped out to an early 4-0 advantage at the end of two periods, and held on to win by the same margin, setting up an all-ILH championship with Kamehameha taking on top-seed and ILH champ Punahou, a 15-1 winner over Kapolei.

Kamehameha's Kiana Yamashiro led all scorers with four goals, and teammate Cierra Hill added 2 more.
