KS-Hawaii defeats Leilehua, 65-54


 



Jayce Carvalho scored 17 points to lead Kamehameha-Hawaii to a 65-54 quarterfinal win over Leilehua at the Merv Lopes Hoops Classic.

Shaun Kagawa added 13 points, Jacob Kackley 9 points and Adam Andrade 8 more for the Warriors, who led 35-20 at the half.

Leilehua forward Xavieuer Adger scored 19 points for Leilehua in the loss.

Kamehameha-Hawaii will face the winner of tonight's Punahou-Pearl City game in the tournament semifinals tomorrow at 5:30 p.m.
