Titan Lacaden caught three touchdown passes and intercepted two passes to help No. 5 Saint Louis pull away from No. 7 Kamehameha in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu football game Friday night.
The Crusaders (4-4 overall, 2-1 league) rallied from 21-14 halftime deficit with 24 unanswered points to turn back the Warriors (4-4, 0-3) at Farrington's Edward ‘Skippa' Diaz Stadium at Kusunoki Field.
Lacaden, a junior slotback, caught touchdown passes of 10, 6 and 37 yards. Both of his interceptions on defense came in the second half.
Keola Apduhan ran for a pair of touchdowns in the win.
Taimane Purcell caught a couple of second-quarter touchdown passes from Kailer Chow-Agor.
Moe Passi got the Warriors on the board with his 5-yard TD run a few minutes into the game.
Makani Markle-Kane's 28-yard field goal with 3:00 left to play closed out the scoring.
It was the second time in a week that the teams faced off. The Crusaders came away with a 40-21 win over the Warriors last Friday.
Saint Louis will have a bye next week before it visits No. 4 Punahou on Oct. 28.
Kamehameha will play the Buffanblu next Saturday at Alexander Field.
