MANOA - Dominno delivers, that's for sure.

Christian Dominno drove in four runs with a pair of two-run singles and second-seeded Baldwin downed Leilehua, 8-2, in Thursday's quarterfinals of the Wally Yonamine Foundation Division I baseball tournament at Les Murakami Stadium. The Bears will meet Mililani in the 4 p.m. semifinals on Thursday.

Winning pitcher Kade Fujioka pitched six strong innings, allowing two runs (one unearned), seven hit and three walks with one strikeout. Isaac Imamura pitched a scoreless seventh, ending the game with a ground-ball double play.

The Mules struck first in the first inning on Ryden Sasaki's RBI single. But the Bears roared back in the bottom of the frame with a two-run double by Kuhio Aloy and the first of Dominno's two-run singles.

Leilehua got an unearned run back in the fourth to cut its deficit in half. But the Bears pulled away with a three-run fifth on an RBI single by Jaren Pascual and Dominno's second two-run single to make it 7-2.

The Bears got another run in the sixth on a passed ball that scored courtesy runner Daekodah Soares.

This is Baldwin's 47th tournament appearance, three ahead of Hilo.
