In the first semifinal at Hawaii Baptist Academy gymnasium, a trio of hitters led the way with double figure kills in the Warriors, 25-17, 25-18, 25-14 win over the Saints in the New City Nissan/HHSAA Division II Boys Volleyball Championships.
Kurt Napoleon put down 13 kills, Carson Schmick 12 and Saxsem Shiira 10 to pace the Warriors, and Jayson Hawthorne dished out 38 assists to six different hitters and added two digs and a block,
Saint Francis was paced by Micah Kalei's seven kills and three digs.
The KIF champion Warriors improved to 18-4 on the year, while the Saints fell to 17-5.
