Four high school baseball players have been selected to participate in the New Balance Area Code Baseball Games Aug 5-10 in Long Beach, Calif. Punahou's KJ Harrison and Dylan Combs, along with Waiakea's Kodi Medeiros will play for the Cincinnati Reds team while Iolani's Christian Donahue will play for the New York Yankees team.The Area Code Games will feature some of the nation's best amateur players, who will be evaluated by scouts from all 30 Major League teams and the Major League Scouting Bureau. Many collegiate coaches are also expected to be in attendance. The games will be played at Blair Field, home of the Long Beach State Dirtbags.
